Last week I collaborated with my stepbrother in his exam movie on Westerdals School of Communication. I was the director of photo, where we had several days of preparation and three intense shooting days. The short film was shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II fitted with several different lenses, including my beloved 35mm F/1.4.

Preparation day

Me positioned behind the camera. My stepbrother Richard to the right.

The fun part was that almost the whole production was filmed in the same room, so setting light was very critical to separate the scenes properly.

Here’s a bunch of stills from the raw footage:

I’ll come back with a blog post when the short film is out!
